1. Decide on a package.
Visit our
checkout and choose from our list of packages and pricing. If
you are not sure which package is right for you or if you need a
service which is not listed, give us a call or send us an
email. We’ll be happy
to help.
2. Pay for your package.
We accept Visa, Discover, Master Card and American Express. You can
pay on our
checkout or via phone, fax or email. Just be sure to include
your name, the name on the card, the billing address, card number,
card type, expiration date and CCV number (that’s the three-digit
security number on the back of most cards, four digit number on the
front of American Express cards).
We are happy to answer any questions you have via phone or
email at any point in
the process, but we will not begin work on your résumé until full
payment has been received.
3. Tell us about yourself.
You can complete the Movin’ On Up Toolkit,
save the changes and send it to us via email or fax 24/7. If you are
more of a talker than a writer, call us Monday through Friday 8am to
5pm pacific time or email us to schedule a phone consultation.
Evening and weekend consults are available by appointment.
Once we have the tools we need to make you look amazing, we’ll have
a first draft to you within one week. If you have special time
constraints, let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
There may be an extra charge for rush service.
Remember, a Movin’ On Up Résumé is a creative, collaborative effort.
We might need more information while we are writing your résumé, so
please be available via phone or email to avoid any delays.
4. Make it perfect.
Once you receive your rough draft, you’ll have up to one month to
request corrections and revisions. The revision process is in place
to make sure your documents are the best they can be. It does not
include drastic changes such as revamping the whole thing to have a
different career focus.
5. Cover Letters
If you have ordered a cover letter, you will receive the first draft
along with your résumé. The revision process applies to cover letters
as well. You may use these revisions to perfect the contents of the
cover letter. Because the purpose of a cover letter is to appeal to
a specific employer, you may not use your revisions to personalize
the cover letter to different companies. You will, however, be able
to make changes on your own, and you can always order another cover
letter from us. If you need more than three cover letters, ask us
about a volume discount.
